NEW Website for At-Home Learning Guides!
Our new website is called The Creativity Project and it's up and live and looks and so skillful! Shannon and I are so excited to accept a new hub for our at-dwelling learning guides. If you followed along in the Spring when we launched our outset Art + Play Guides hither on this website, you how hard we worked to bring families creative ideas that were tied to curriculum and then they could feel a sense of condolement and bring some routine and joy into their days at home during lockdown. We wanted the guides to be attainable and achievable for everyone!
Over the summer, we transformed our guides into a printable PDF that families can subscribe to and receive in their inbox every month! Each guide has a "learning story" for the month which is the theme that threads through all of the activities and lists. September's learning story is All Almost Me, which is a familiar theme for the offset of the school twelvemonth, but with the added benefit of being able to explore "cocky" in a more than nurturing and intimate setting at home. Children will not only be able to engage in creative and critical thinking with the daily prompts, but they volition also be encouraged to dig even deeper into understanding who they are, find the courage to share their true selves with their family, and run across the world from many perspectives.

The landing page is where you can get an overview of our new guides and the many ways they tin can help yous and your family cultivate creative habits at home this yr. Along with a daily creative exercise, each guide is filled with a rich and diverse volume list, interesting and varied snack ideas, ways to extend the learning story for older kids, artist spotlight, curricular connections, and more.
