Using Google Assistant to Track Amazon Packages
/assistant/community?hl=en
Ask Assistant "where are my packages?"
0
I have a few packages that I've been using Google on Chrome on PC to track. Enter the tracking number in Google, it takes you to a link to UPS or USPS etc.
On the same email address that Chrome is logged into, I have a Google Home Mini that of course has Google Assistant.
My thought is that if Google is busy cross-referencing my info, that I should be able to just say "OK Google where are my packages?" and it should be able to figure out that I have been searching on Google on the PC for 3 tracking numbers and let Assistant know and tell me.
Yeah, I can just track them on Chrome on the PC, but if I'm standing in the kitchen, I'd like to be able to ask Google out loud and get an answer.
Any ideas if this is something that Assistant can do?
I have seen an old thread that the cards for package tracking were removed from the old Google Now a couple of years ago. But for all the dumb things that Assistant can do, why can't it do this very useful thing?
